About Us
Salvatore D'Aniello is a passionate cyclist with over thirty years of experience in the world of two wheels. Born on 26 May 1968, he has cultivated a visceral passion for cycling from a young age, which has led him to live a life dedicated to his great passion.
From his earliest years, Salvatore was immersed in the world of cycling thanks to his father's teaching and guidance. At the age of eight, he began exploring the roads on two wheels with him, paving the way for a journey that would become a fundamental part of his life.
At the age of thirteen, Salvatore began competing, starting in the Rookie category and advancing with determination to the Amateur category. It was during these years that he developed not only his pedalling skills, but also his technical knowledge of the bicycle.
From his early days, he used a Colnago racing bike equipped with the prestigious Campagnolo Record gearbox, marking the beginning of a long and fruitful history in cycling.
After gaining extensive experience in the cycling field, Salvatore decided to share his passion and skills with others. He worked as a regional cycling technician, obtaining the qualification of 3rd level sports director and attending numerous courses to become a mechanic specialising in prestigious brands such as Fox, RockShox, Bosch, Sram, Campagnolo and Shimano.
In 1985, he and his father opened their first sales and service outlet, thus launching his career in the cycling industry.
His dedication to cycling has not been limited to competition and bike maintenance, but has extended to the creation of a true cycling network. In 2010, he founded the sports association 'A.S.D. I Love Bike', with the aim of uniting cross-country and randonnée enthusiasts, promoting the love of cycling and community spirit.
In the same year, it created the 'I Rent Bike' brand, offering a bicycle and accessory rental service with an innovative and efficient approach. Thanks to an e-commerce service, Salvatore and his team deliver bicycles directly to customers, in any city or place as the customer prefers and at the time he deems most convenient for him, or we have set up collection points throughout Campania (Pompeii/ Scafati, Vico Equense, Sorrento, Amalfi, Salerno, Paestum, Agropoli, Paestum, Acciaroli, Atripalda Avellino, Caposele Avellino, San Giorgio del Sannio Benevento, in Basilicata Matera and Maratea, in Puglia in Lecce, Brindisi, Bari, Alberobello, so as to avoid loss of time for pick-up and drop-off, but also to give our customers the opportunity to choose pick-up in one place and drop-off in another, even if outside the region.
His passion for road cycling has led him to organise epic journeys crossing the most iconic climbs in world cycling, such as the Stelvio Pass, the Mortirolo Pass, the Gavia Pass, the Giau Pass, the Pordoi Pass, and many others, giving participants unique and unforgettable experiences.
Also in 2011, he set up Italian Bike Experience, a company specialising in cycling trips, organising thematic tours ranging from culture to food and wine, from nature to archaeology.
Thanks to his vision and unwavering commitment, Salvatore has contributed significantly to the dissemination and promotion of cycle tourism, offering unforgettable experiences to cyclists of all ages and abilities in various regions of Italy and offering various services, such as transport and luggage storage, schuttle service for transporting people, insurance, and much more. The proposed routes are exclusive and varied, allowing participants to explore suggestive places on classic bikes or E-bikes, as well as trips that can fully satisfy their holiday, such as Boat and Bike, or as Bike & Kayak.
Italian Bike Experience represents the natural evolution of its commitment to cycle tourism, with the aim of offering unforgettable experiences to all bike lovers.
