Cusano Mutri: located on the southern slope of the Matese, embedded in the ancient Sannio Pentro, today on the border between Campania and Molise. It is 20 km from the ancient Roman town of Telesia on the southwest side of Campania, and 30 km from the other Roman town of Altilia (Saepinum), in Molise, on the northeast side.
According to historians Cusano Mutri is the Sannita Cossa, in which Cosano, destroyed by the Romans together with Telesia. The name, which would mean a cup, would also indicate the topographical configuration from which the primitive ideographic symbol "Q" would represent, which represented the mountain circle with the mouth of Lavello, the only outlet. Faicchio Castle: Faicchio Castle or ducal castle is a Norman-style architecture set in the historic center of Faicchio, in the province of Benevento. The Sannitic necropolis, rich in important finds, has come to light in the northeastern area of the Holy Land, in the area between the Isclero River and the town of Frasso Telesino.
